Canon introduced some new cameras today. They are revamping the A-Series and UltraZoom line with the new PowerShot A1000 IS and A2000 IS, as well as the new PowerShot SX110 IS. Is it really correct to call the Canon 50D Digital SLR a typical point and shoot? Isn't this an entry level DSLR? 15 mp is pretty big and it looks like a SLR. Also, when are these coming in to JR.com?

I didn't call the 50D a typical point and shoot. It is a DSLR. The cameras are scheduled to be released in the early fall.
