    Hello
How are you doing today i want to know all about this but am in nigeria so i want to know if you can shipped the item to nigeria and the total price of the item
    Thanks

    Frank,
Sorry we currently do not offer international shipping at this time.

Keep in mind, the Maestro 3100 is pre loaded with Maps from North America, and additional software will have to be loaded in order for this unit to work correctly in Nigera.

Sorry for the less than stellar news, but keep checking back with us we upgrade and improve services all the time!

Question: can this product be used immediately, or are accessories necessary in order to operate it?
  • Joe W · 1 year ago
    The Box Contents are:
Magellan Maestro 3100 Portable Auto GPS System, flexible windshield mount, dash mounting adhesive disk, cigarette lighter power adapter (12-24 watts), quick reference guide, reference manual CD, and USB cable.

The answer is yes, everything you need to operate this unit is included.
Bear in mind, if you would like to charge this in your home, the purchase of the optional AC adapter is required. But is easily charged during your first use via the included 12v cigarette light adapter.

    Thanks much for asking!

I am technology challenged and would like to know how easy is this item to use?
  • Atane · 1 year ago
Extremely easy to use Nadia. You should have no problems.

I want to use this in a rental car. Does it have to be adhered to the dashboard or can it rest on the front seat?
  • Atane · 1 year ago
For your safety, I don't recommend you use any GPS device resting on your front seat.

How easy is it to update this unit when maps/streets change or are new
  • ajp · 1 year ago
Do you know what vintage the maps are that come with the unit? My concern is that I do not want maps that are out of date on the GPS.
