I have owned bose headphones and  honestly think these are head and shoulders above.  Also I feel like if Monster kept Dre's name off and just sold them as top quality Monster headphones people wouldn't be so skeptical. I find it hard to imagine that Dr Dre and a cable maker teamed up to circumvent the likes of Sennheiser, Bose, Yamaha. Words from CNET don't mean much just like a toaster review from Glamour Magazine wouldn't mean much.
