Nikon D90 Body Now Available

I recently blogged about the Nikon D90 kit here. It is a tremendous DSLR. Innovative also, being that it is the first DSLR capable of shooting HD video.     What are the advantages of the d40 over the d90. I have a film based SLR 70 with alot of lenses. I would like to be able to use them. What about the difference in frames per second. My small Nikon Coolpix misses alot of shots based on the capture speeds when pushed.

    I appreciate your opinions and advice.

    Bob, apart from being lighter and much more affordable, the d40 has no advantages over the d90. The d40 also does not autofocus with non-AF-S lenses. The d90 is 4.5 fps, while the d40 is 3 fps.
