For straight-ahead conversion of DVD to Apple TV either will do the job fine. Handbrake is a free utility which you may want to have in addition to either of these. Even the monster of CD DVD ripping and burning software, Toast Titanium, may need a little help from Handbrake from time to time.

Re: Roxio Crunch is Your Digital Video Rosetta Stone

how does popcorn 3 compare?

Re: Roxio Crunch is Your Digital Video Rosetta Stone

Yes, it should convert most DVDs, some may need Handbrake.

Re: Roxio Crunch is Your Digital Video Rosetta Stone

can i use this to copy my dvd collection to my apple tv?

Re: Roxio Crunch is Your Digital Video Rosetta Stone

Thanks...I have been looking for Roxio Crunch. Can Roxio Crunch help with that?

Re: Roxio Crunch is Your Digital Video Rosetta Stone

Phillip, i'm not sure how or why you would want to use file conversion software with a DVR.

Re: Roxio Crunch is Your Digital Video Rosetta Stone

Will this software work on my DVR?

Re: Roxio Crunch is Your Digital Video Rosetta Stone

Dale, i'm not sure i'm following your question. You want to convert old analog footage to blu-ray? If that is your question, then that cannot be done. You can burn the footage to a blank blu-ray disc. It has more than enough capacity for your old footage, but it won't be blu-ray quality or HD if that's what you are getting at.

Re: Roxio Crunch is Your Digital Video Rosetta Stone

WILL THIS PROBLEM ALLOW CONVERTING FROM ANALOG TO BLUE RAY??
