  • I saw this in the store and it is totally cool. At first glance, I thought it was just like an iMac. But, it's better because it's got a wireless keyboard (not just a remote, like the iMac) essential for it very handy for sitting back on the couch in TV mode and the Sony has the TV receiver built-in, so you don't have to buy EyeTV software like you do for iMacs. Of course, you have to suffer Windows while using it, but the Vista Home Premium which contains the Media Center functions shouldn't be that nasty. The salesman said you can record off the TV and burn to DVD disc. I can't believe Sony allows this -- did they suddenly get smart? But, really who cares about discs these days? I'd just shove any recorded files off to an external drive. I can't decide whether to get this (it is really slick looking) or wait for the Apple TV thingy.
