The Display on the D90 is static. Nevertheless, the resolution on the D90 screen is higher than the resolution of the screen on the D5000. It’s also slightly bigger at 3 inches, as opposed to 2.7 inches on the D5000.

So it’s a trade off, the D5000’s screen offers versatility, it’s also a little brighter and is more visible in the sun. The D90 screen is larger and has a higher resolution. Ultimately, only you can decide which would suit your needs most. They are both fine cameras.

Re: The Nikon D90 adds HD filming to DSLR’s

Hi Jeanne, that lens is compatible with only Nikon SLR cameras.

Re: The Nikon D90 adds HD filming to DSLR’s

Could someone provide a comparison & recommendation of the D5000 & D90?

Re: The Nikon D90 adds HD filming to DSLR’s

I have a N6006 with several lens and am in the market to purchase a Nikon digital SLR camera. A 28mm lens will show more in close quarters, but
there will be some distortion.

Re: The Nikon D90 adds HD filming to DSLR’s

Hi,

I'm an architect and i'd like to kwon which lenses are better to take indoor pictures.

thanks

Re: The Nikon D90 adds HD filming to DSLR’s

My favourite camera. The lens has vibration reduction. Many of the Nikon DX lenses have vibration reduction. This is usually noted with the acronym "VR".

The length of your video footage depends on what resolution you set the camera on. But it's anywhere from 5 minutes for 720p HD, to 20 minutes for SD.

Does it work well? Yes it does, however I think that a tripod is a must when recording with the D90. Without it, you might get a wobble effect when doing wide pans.

Re: The Nikon D90 adds HD filming to DSLR’s

I'm in the market for an excellent DSLR and read your review. Does this camera have image stablization?

Have you enjoyed the HD Video and sound parts of your new camera? Does it work well? How long can you shoot video and sound?

Appreciate your comments on why you think this is the camera I should purchase.

Thanks you
Bob
