is this Hard Drive good for storing music from my I Tunes? I am using a MAC.

I have two hard drives setup as mirror drives. If one goes down, I can replace it and write to it from the other. My concern is a virus. Does the Tochiba drive copy all programs and files? Can I restore both drives? I have a Dell PC.
