It bugs a lot of software. The original CD-ROM is not installed. With the same problem of a pile of other people's reactions. The latest version of the software, too boring. QuickCam falls at times. It is not satisfied with the algorithm Zoom'a. He only digital - leads to a depressing deterioration in image quality. Large array of 1600 * 1200 native drivers are not used to zoom. The function of tracking a person is not working properly, if a man with glasses.

Re: Video Chat with the Logitech Quickcam Pro

R_Gerard:

The price is here: http://www.jr.com/logitech/pe/LGI_960000048/?JR...

Re: Video Chat with the Logitech Quickcam Pro

Truly one of the finest webcams...still...at a great price! See my review at Amazon (sells thru J&R). Basically, performance/resolution is limited by your internet connection speed. Unless you're using cable (or unlikely something better via a commercial method) VGA resolution is best (for DSL as well). Face tracking can be either great or annoying, depending on desires (if you don't mind the zooming/panning and don't care about showing other body parts). Autofocus and color/sound are all fantastic. BUY THIS OR ITS NOTEBOOK EQUIVALENT (9000 Pro for Notebooks, not necessary for a notebook or an LCD screen), IT'S WELL WORTH IT.

Re: Video Chat with the Logitech Quickcam Pro

mm ok.. dont see the price mentioned tho... should do that in an ad.

Re: Video Chat with the Logitech Quickcam Pro

How much for the Logitech Quick cam pro 9000?

Re: Video Chat with the Logitech Quickcam Pro

Oh Man I would love to own that web cam!

Re: Video Chat with the Logitech Quickcam Pro

Nice site, lots of useful content, i have just given it a Digg. I have one of these cameras and while the QuickCam software isn't optimized for Macs, so you're left without the audio and video optimization technology and, less importantly, the goofy video effects and filters. But overall the camera offers a winning combination of stellar image quality, easy-to-use software, and a sturdy, stable stand. It gets my vote...
