Two things to consider: There is no standard audio-out on this MP3 player. There are only two 2.5mm stereo jacks, one for each speaker. I believe these will work with headphones, but they'll require a 2.5mm plug.

Also, X2Gen has closed due to Ch 11 bankruptcy (see http://www.x2gen.com) as of November 2007, so there will be no support or warranty on their products.
